First hanchan starts at 12pm on Sunday, August 1st, 2021

in Claire's apartment in Brooklyn.

RULES & STRUCTURE

​

• Ruleset: MLeague rules with the following exceptions: nagashi mangan ON, headbump OFF.

• Preliminaries: 4 hanchan cumulative score.

• Top 4 go to final table. 1 hanchan finals.

PARTICIPATION

​

• Open to all, but capped at 16 players.

• After first 16 signups, players will be admitted from the waitlist in groups of 4. 

• Requesting a $5 participation fee to cover the cost of prizes. Pay what you can!

• DM Claire to reserve your spot in the tournament.

 

PRIZES

​

• First place: custom shugi set with Rachel's design for International Mahjong Day 2021. 

• Second place: mahjong strategy & WWYD book from Kinokuniya.

• All participants will receive one of the custom shugi as a memoir!
